All projects implemented in Saudi Arabia follow the National Execution Modality (NEX), which falls under the NEX Manual, unless explicitly required and approved by UNDP Headquarters, Direct Execution Modality may be applied which would fall under the DEX Guidelines. In addition to that, when partnering with the business community Guidelines on Cooperation between the United Nations and the Business Community would also to be applied.  Partnerships for Technical Cooperation would require official and separate agreements to be signed according to their respective categories:

* Standard agreement for financial contributions from donor governments (third-party cost- sharing, rev. September 2007)
* Standard agreement for financial contributions from foundations
* Standard agreement for financial contributions from the private sector and NGOs/CSOs
* Standard agreement for small financial contributions from the private sector and NGOs/CSOs
* Standard agreement for financial contributions from programme country governments (government cost-sharing)
