5 May 2012, Launch of the National Energy Efficiency Programme: Phase 25 May 2012, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) with King Abdul-Aziz City for Science & Technology (KACST) – Saudi Energy Efficiency Centre (SEEC) launched Phase Two of the National Energy Efficiency Programme, with a total budget of $2,373,586 And a one year duration starting from1st of January 2012 and ending by 31st of December 2012.This project is the second phase of a capacity development programme for the King Abdul-Aziz City for Science and Technology aimed at supporting the recently established Saudi Energy Efficiency Centre to achieve the Kingdom’s increasingly important goals for energy conservation.
