15-16 September 2004, UNDP Organizes a Seminar for The Members of The National Society for Human Rights (NSHR)
The seminar was intended to provide a forum for open discussions and exchange of experiences regarding (a) the various international human rights treaties and conventions;
(b) the applications of the international treaties within the developmental, social and cultural contexts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia;
(c) the networking between NSHR and the specialized / concerned national, regional and international institutions and organizations;
(d) the prospects of the NSHR to serve the needs of the Kingdom in this vital field; and
(e) the modality of cooperation with the United Nations Organizations to further support the efforts of the NSHR to carry out its responsibilities.
