5-7 January 2004, Mervat Tillawi Visits Saudi Arabia and Holds a Press Conference at UNDP Offices in Riyadh |
Ms. Mervat Tillawi, the Under-Secretary General and the Executive Secretary of the Economic and Social Commission of Western Asia (ESCWA) paid a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the period 5 to 7 January 2004.
Dr. Tillawi had arrived to Riyadh on Monday 5 January, 2004. She met with several Royalties, high officials and Ministers in the Government. Her most prominent meeting was with Crown Prince Abdullah on January 6th 2004. UNDP Country Office has arranged for a successful press conference that took place at the UN Building in the Diplomatic Quarter in Riyadh.
